Ray gets inspiration from the bread making process and the related raw ingredients, produces a series of artworks using clay as the main medium to depict some of the old tales about bread or buns. Through these artworks, he attempts to challenge our preconception of the use of clay in art making and to encourage us to have a deeper “reading” of the seemingly ordinary things around us.
